I've been lookin for this one!! It sounds alot better than alot of my tapes, time to get with the the downloads!!Internet is new to me, awsome!

Yep, it sounds rough at the start, but once they realized the cover was on one mike, and somebody's jacket on the other, and cleaned the plugs, and the morons in front of the mics sat down the sound isn't all THAT bad...
The biggest problem is one set of the mics appears to be using full shotguns pointed at the band, while most of the mix is carried by speakers WAY outside that area. This makes Jerry, Bob, and Phil stand out, especially Jerry and Phil's native amps.
Balance, no, incredible "view" of Jerry's amazing leads and Phil's amazing leads, yes.
On balance, I gotta give this a 5 for content and performance and a 4 (3.7 actually) for the recording, because the second two thirds of the recording are really pretty darn decent.
Graded on audio alone, this is a 2.5-3.0, but the performance and crowd really gets through.
If I could get a pristine recording of this show, ,. on my birthday...
This recording is a lot, lot, better than nothing...

Well, this is a well played show as much of 1990. This tape is somewhat grainy and the upper mid range is too much, giving it a nasly tone...it's nice to hear the high hats well. a little bit thin...something with more definition will turn up..nice show and run
